F***in' doghoused again....
I went home last night and made the girlfirend watch the videos, of course reiterating once or twice "It's your fault cause your makin them a *****" (which granted me access to a few dirty looks). Later that evening, again very lovingly, I had to raise the pitch in my voice and throw in a few "Be a *****, it's Ok. It's allright"s. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and what the hell, it was funny enough to be worth making my own dinner for a day or two...

For a long time I've very lovingly, very jokingly accused her of turning her 4 year old son in to a pusscake, and on occasion just shook my head at something and said "That's OK, I have time to fix that.". I've also explained "sheeple" as much as my ever so patient personality allows.

I'm no longer in the official sheepdog line of work, but I certainly don't consider myself a sheep. I'm restricted on some places I can't go armed, so the goal is to be as ready as possible unarmed.

I don't need a MA for fitness (hell I have P90x at home), I don't need an MA that preaches how good it is for self defense because it's th3 d3adly, I want a MA that gives me what I need / am lacking in when I can't walk away and don't have my most effective means of street self defense.

The problem is "Martial Artists" walking around thinking they can defend themselves or people wanting to "feel" like they can (and of course ninjers). If you do krotty for fitness, cool, just don't believe you can protect yourself or your family with it. Four minutes is a long time to take a beating while 911 is on the way.

I am happy to be a sheep. The ***** ass wolves are only going to take the smallest and weakest anyway. They dont want a fight they want a meal.

I mostly meant the "It's okay, be a *****" part. I don't think any of the women in my life would have tolerated that.

She "gets" that I'm a little rough around the edges, she sure isn't with me because I'm pretty :) We have a good relationship that way. I was whining about my hips being sore after a class and she told me to "stop whining and be a man"

On the real side, yeah, I probably shoulda' shut it after once or twice teasing, but she's not really that mad. Plus she really doesn't want her boy to be a wuss forever.
