FTR the IP for user coachsonnon traces to Bellingham as well. Obviously Sonnon resides there, but it's worth noting that his posting history is from the exact area as our new friend here.

    This is exactly the case.

So, the possibility is that Sonnon posed as one of his own people to create this account? Damn...that's low.

I guess that the standard for Mensa is pretty low these days...

    YMAS Version 34256

Getting back to the yoga issue the letter being referenced did not say Sonnon is not a student or unknown to them only that Prasara Yoga is not affiliated with their organization, which is not the claim being investigated. If possible whoever originally received this letter should try to find out specifically if Sonnon is or ever was a student of Amma.

"The person described in the website http://prasarayoga.com/ is not formally affiliated with the M.A. Math, nor does his website represent one of Amma's or the Math's activities. However, he may well be a devotee of Amma and may wish to publicly recognize the influence she has had in his life on his personal website."

This is a reasonable hypothesis but it is also worth noting that Sonnon has many students in Bellingham and an equally reasonable hypothesis is this could be one of them either trying to defend his (or her) teacher or stirring up **** on his behalf.

There is a reason this is being discussed in the thread and has not been culled yet.. You can PM Matt and Steve for an explanation if you so choose.

The contact info for Amma's group is listed in this thread and you are certainly free to write to them and clarify if you like.
