If you can't discuss or demonstrate details to members how does any member learn?
That would seem to defeat the purpose of training if interpreted that strictly. I read #2 more as members won't start the trouble, and #4 as members won't get into ego-driven schoolyard-type scuffles with other dojo.

On becoming a member of the Tenshin Shōden Katori Shintō-ryū which has been transmitted by the Great Deity of the Katori Shrine, I herewith affirm my pledge that:
- I will not have the impertinence to discuss or demonstrate details of the ryū to either non-members or members, even if they are relatives;
- I will not engage in altercations or misuse the art against others;
- I will never engage in any kind of gambling nor frequent disreputable places.
- I will not cross swords with any followers of other martial traditions without authorization.
I hereby pledge to firmly adhere to each of the above articles. Should I break any of these articles I will submit to the punishment of the Great Deity of Katori and the Great Deity Marishiten. Herewith I solemnly swear and affix my blood seal to this oath to these Great Deities.
Why is the TSKSR pledge -- presumably a detail of the Ryu -- publicly available on Wikipedia?
Apparently Cummins likes to play games:

Probably required reading before engagement should he show up on Bullshido next.
That post leaks and oozes insanity.
more like intellectual fail. He masterfully deceived everyone on MAP in order to rise on google search? Wow, just wow. All his 'publications' 'youtube broadcasting' etc. screams 'I am an attention whore, yada yada yada'.

I really should've gone more with paranoid delusional.
A bunch of people arguing with your material on the internet isn't in any way a "war", nor would ninjutsu skills (i.e. run, throw a ninjer star, then run away) be pertinent to some childish attempt at a mindfuck.
The only way to really play a game is to never let anyone know the rules. This retard doesn't understand that.
