Video NSFW Graphic Violence : Knife Defense best case
The video is not the best quality but it clearly shows the threat of a live blade.
How many people got cut before the threat was even truly realized?
How long did it take for the knife wounds to be realized?
Would Knife Defense #X have worked any better ?

They were all very lucky but the first guy with his throat cut !!! OMG he should change his name to "lucky"
What's interesting is that the shop owner/worker clearly had a pistol loaded and ready to hand yet it wasn't his first reaction. At least he acheived a first round hit on the madman under those stress conditions and having been injured himself at least three times beforehand.
Thank fcuk for adrenalin !"To sin by silence when one should protest makes cowards out of men".

Notice how it took like 45 seconds to call the cops.
... but like 20 seconds to watch his friend take a knife in the throat and him to take three or four horrible cuts.
I think he did well myself.

Fucking unbelievable really.
Nearly a couple of years back, a young mum-to-be was stabbed to death in broad daylight on a local town street near to where I live, totally random, she was just unfortunate to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The murderer, a man with prior mental health issues had only recently prior to the attack, surrendered himself to the local police telling them he was likely to attack someone. Obviously they (and or other agencies) didn't take him seriously enough"To sin by silence when one should protest makes cowards out of men".

Thank god for the customer who made the assist. Definetly was't the smartest thing to do, but I bet a lot of people would have run away and left the owner to die so cudos to him.
I can only hope I'm that brave in that kind of situation.

My wife was shocked that the store keeper shot so close to the customer.
I thought the man (customer) was either going to be done for or missing some fingers and suffer some VERY serious defensive wounds ...
This clip is fascinating and terrifying. The attacker knew what he was doing and everything he did weirded me out.
Anyone know any specifics yet?

With the current economic climate and cuts in social and health care the situation is not going to get any better.
It is a terrible situation for mentally ill people who need care and sanctuary but also for their victims and the families of their victims, if they do hurt or even kill people.
It is a false economy on so many levels to cut beds in mental health units, especially secure units, but this is exactly what is happening at the moment in the UK.

Note to self, don't ever stand so close to an entrance of a store or a register with my back turned.
That was defintely a terrifying situation. I'd like to hear the details of the attack.
