ive had it happen to me and a bunch of friends that this guy comes in the bar on a saturdaynight.
he's like taking cigarettes and is very talkative and ****.
he asks my friend:hey buddy, im a bit skint, could you get me one beer, i have to get some cash.
15 minutes later we find out nobody of us actually knew him!
    clever trick.
he was escorted out of the bar by his ass and neck though.

He had a bag of inhalers and stuff and had to leave class fairly regularly to take breaks (and I didnít run especially hard classes; old ladies and stuff could keep up). He looked like a combination of Napoleon Dynamite and Fred Ettish, and sparred with that goofy waving one arm up one arm down sideways horse stance style. I was astounded to learn that he was 24 years old; I thought the guy was like 15. He always had a drawing pad with him, presumably to draw ligers.

There was also a guy, mid 20s, who did event security. I almost never saw him train, but he had been at the school for years. He had the pasty, doughy build of a serious desk jockey or gamer, and he would talk about how sparring isnít that useful since a low side kick could cripple someone. He also tried to assume some badass points because he was a security guard, but I was also a guard and knew just how non-badass the job of a security guard is. I never sparred with him, but Iíll bet I could have shown him what a tool he was being about barely training and avoiding sparring.
    Fred Ettish was cool.

We are doing compliance drills and at the end of class I end up with this kid who is about 6'4 and probably about my weight. I tell him to take it easy because I have a bad shoulder. He complete spazzes out and ends up in a full on grappling match leaning all his weight on me, I have to yell "stop" because it really is injuring my already injured shoulder damaged from the last spazzy noob. He doesn't fucking move, wants to stay in the same position and I have to talk him into moving.

Then he ends up trying crank my back. At this stage I'm getting pissed and not going to give up.

Then I get him in the compliance position and just hold him, and squeeze his fucking back. He's trying some weak-ass ankle locks with his legs that he obviously learned sparring with his dickhead friends on the back lawn. He ends up with nothing. He knows some ****. Just enough to be a fucking dickhead.

Thus far two dickheads on my **** list.

He was cool for stepping up and putting his krotty to the test in UFC #2, and he was cool for getting into MMA afterwards. But that's all I'll give him.

I guess I am lucky to say I don't think since becoming an adult I have ever trained with "that guy". Maybe it could be what happens to "that guy" at the schools I have gone to that tend to be randori heavy and typically more higher end guys than lower end.

You will meet him one day, everyone does and when you do... oh man. You will learn to hate him and curse his mother and father for not wearing a condom.

Luckily I don't really have many "That Guy"/s at my school. Everybody is super fucking chill as a general (usually true) rule, they deal with my noobiness quite well :) I do however have issues with people at school and friends of friends. Whenever the conversation goes to martial arts, most people are normal, but some are crazy and do the "OMG you're a God! I'm so afraid of you now!" (fucking creepy and awkward as ****, I don't want to be made into "that guy") or I get the guys who somehow see casual conversation as me trying to dominate them somehow. These people I've realized as well ALWAYS have done whatever art I'm talking about ALWAYS for a period of 4-6 years ALWAYS it was a private lesson setup and ALWAYS they only know the basic level of knowledge about the game (take for example a guy who claimed 6 years in Jiu Jitsu, I asked him if he was flexible enough to do the rubberguard or how to do a omoplata "You mean like...a triangle choke -_- I have like 5 months of BJJ and I know how to do a omoplata)
