    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Victorville/Apple Valley, CA Judo

This is going to sound a bit odd coming from someone whose focus is HEMA and Lichtenaeur longsword, but I actually wish to seek out a Judo school to see if I can use the knowledge to improve my base of understanding for Ringen as well.

I will be moving to Apple Valley, California this October, which is also near Victorville, CA. Does anyone know of any good schools in the area that teach Judo (or another solid grappling form)?

    My thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    William

Judoinfo.com has a listing of clubs worldwide.

USA Judo, United States Judo Federation, and United States Judo Association all have lists of clubs on their web sites.

    Hey, thank you BKR.

I appreciate the resources. My money isn't unlimited, and with all the horror stories I get about McDojo and Bullshido, I want to be sure I make wise choices with it.

    You're a gentleman and a scholar.

    Phone rings:
    Angel answers the phone.
    "Hey God! It's for you"
    "Who is it?"
    "Lucifer"
    "What's he want?
"I don't know but he sounds pissed"
    "Why?"
    "Says he's stuck in Victorville"
    God answers the Phone.
"Sucks to be you dude; told you that you were going to Hell".

Check out the Bullet Hole gym in Victorville. Two black belts (one sandan, the other nidan I think) run the training, lots of ground as they both have wrestling backgrounds, a few local BJJ guys train there semi-regular too.
