    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Discussion on merits of targeting multiple points in combos

    There are none.

Always aim for one spot. When you do it, do it hard.

Stuff either breaks on the first hit or doesn't. Eventually its gonna give.

This makes you predictable? Ok, that doesn't change the fact that they are still being hit.

Can't hit it? Ok then hit somewhere else and focus messing that place up instead, then go back to the first place.

Just an observation, a fight isn't usually ugly until someone is on the ground being hit in the same spot over and over again until something bad happens to them. Why make any fight last longer by spreading out the pain?

Their are none... but then you go on to give an example why you would.

    Post fails.

Yep, definitely can't think of any reasons to do that.

    Video # 1,

Guy is not knocked out after the second hit. Though his head took a hit, consecutive repeated liver blows would have been enough to stop the fight.

    Video # 2

First hit is a feint, not part of a combo.

Case in point, fighter wants to continue to strike the leg. This is the optimal to disabling movement.

    Video # 3
Example of 1 hit finisher, not a combo.

Also want to add, with the exception of those with lightning fast reflexes or those who give ground, once something is blocked it, the person is usually out of position to be able to block in the same place twice without hard blocking. This presents an ideal target because hard blocking does not stop force transfer thru to the target.

So what's the one spot you should always aim for, except when you shouldn't? Its the dong, isn't it?
