    BJJ owns drunken douche

This video shows Ryan Hall, of 50/50 Jiu Jitsu, Falls Church, VA, taking down a drunken douchebag in a restaurant. There are no fancy moves in this video. I find it worthwhile to consider certain points: (1) drunken douchebags don't know when they're better off, so don't expect them to do the smart thing, (2) it worked out well, but did he consider if the drunk had a blade?, (3) your friends may not exactly help you -- here, it looks like restaurant staff got the guy riled up again after he'd calmed down.

Do you secretly wish that this would happen to you? How would you have handled it?

This video was huge when it came out. It's probably been discussed to death. Why are you posting it again?

My favorite part of the video is that Dave Jacobs (who teaches up the street). Doesn't even look up from his Pizza.

He is a Black Belt under Yamasaki that used to teach at Fairfax Jiu Jitsu. He left last year and opened up his own academy in Tyson's Corner.
