    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Return of a proud tradition

Between having to memorize throws like o guruma and uki otoshi for my Judo test and the berimbolo haunting my dreams in BJJ, the universe is trying to tell me something. At least that's what ex-hippie elderly drag-rats tell me, and if I can't trust a guy with face tats who isn't nearly as poor as he says he is, who can I trust?

So that means it's time for Grappling Gimmick Month again.

It's a a month where I drill and roll/randori with mostly/all gimmicky techniques (gimmicks are like porn, they don't have an exact definition but you know them when you see them). Supposedly this will teach me, via the Dao, about the importance of basics again but really i'm just bored and need a new Thing. If you have to attack some philosophy to it, say something about personal growth. The sleeper must awaken.

But I can't do it alone! I need your suggestions and support in this. What should go on the list?

    I nominate (for the Jits)
    - Flying gogoplata (No clue how that would even look)
    - Flying Armbar... heck flying everything
    - Chokes from inside the guard
    - Chokes while being on bottom side mount (inverted triangle from bottom for example) or bottom mount

    As for Judo,
    Flying leg scissor if allowed

Why confine it to BJJ, find the Judo gym stiff armer and give them the surprise of their trainning life

I am not sure if flying armbars/triangles are legal in Judo, thus I limited it to JJ...
If they allow it *please prepare for take off*

Omoplata from standing. Didn't one of the Gracies do that at this last competition?

If that one isn't gimmicky enough for you then Calf slicer.

No arm triangle. Always good for a chuckle.
