    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Brah, do you even spar?

It was bad enough having Omega's mug swell at me on the right side of my monitor. Now some ugly haole who has fat lips (in a horrid kissy face) is titled 'BRAH, DO YOU EVEN SPAR?' Must be the ugliest thing I've seen on Bullshido since that online buddy of aesop trolled Rotties with pics of mutilated breasts.

I wonder what is going on? Is this Phrost's idea? Has someone flipped?

And why is it titled BRAH? Bra' is from Hawaiian pidgin English, local for brother.

I'll make this post worthwhile: "What do you call a Ha'ole who is trying to speak pidgin?"
    "Training Bra'."

Yes, but it has been misappropriated thanks to shows like Dog the Bounty Hunter and Jersey Shore.

Dog and crew speak the worst pidgin 'evah,' 'cept for Lieland who doesn't try to make himself sound local when talking to locals. The worst offender on TV is the current Hawaii 5/0, but it's tongue in cheek, making references to local vernacular as "bird!"

    Meme (d)evolution:

"Do you even lift?" becomes popular meme >
"Do you even lift, bro?" >
"Brah, do you even lift?" >
    "Brah, do you even spar?"

I think it's some kind of research Phrost is doing. IIRC, he's into the meme as information virus theory, and we're all his guinea pigs. This thread is probably confirming a sub-theory about antibodies.

KissyFace HeadBand (drop on the deck and flop like a fish!), is obviously an attempt to turn everyone into devotees of "aliveness" (can we do something about that fucking term?) by showing non-sparrers something even they'd want to punch into oblivion.

After the briefest of glances, I sure as **** want to. That face needs to be fed into the nearest concrete pillar, dumpster or telephone pole. Repeatedly. And again.

Brother, bro, brah and bruv have been used in Australia as substitutable terms of endearment. Accept the continuing diversity of language, especially as it travels through the Internet to places that don't have any connection to your pidgin holed (c whut I did there) view of language.

It made it really difficult for me to give the right first impression when I was showing my fiancee the site.

"So this is where I go to hear from actual badasses who know their ****."

    "What's with the creeper face?"

"That's, uh, one of the badasses I was talking about."
