It was just very big is all. By blending with winter storm, it acquired some serious size without losing strength. the hi tides made it worse.
Similar thing happened in 1991. They made a movie about it.And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

I watched TV. We had some flooding problems over the ocean, but that s+++ was BAAAAAD! I'm so sorry for Bounty, the city and all lives lost. Hope you bullies who were in it made it through in one piece and with as little property damage as possible and that some proper normality will be restored as fast as possible without too much looting and consequences that go with it.
Keep us posted!
(I mean god damn! First they hit you with planes, now they sent the whole storm on you. Whatever that HARP is doing it's ineffective. ---I have to put some bullworth in this :staredad:)Last edited by Stickybomb; 10/30/2012 2:01pm at .

When a Cat 1 huricaine comes to visit my area, we don't even board up the windows, stock up on water, or even buy extra can's of tuna. But we are used to huricaines around here. In my opinion the reason it's bad up there is because, one they are not prepared for huricaines, and two all of the press agencies are based in New York. So they assume that the rest of the world cares about them.
On the flip side, we had snow flurries here about two years ago and we shut down the city and closed down the schools. That's right, I said flurries. No, the "snow" didn't even stick to the ground.Combatives training log.

You should see me driving to work through 2 meters of fresh snow. Not properly cleared. But it was fine. When I went off the road I stopped in it with car unharmed. My precious clio got all busted up when there was no snow, only ice...
