The Judo Forum people want to have the thread removed on a varying number of rationales.
He's a great guy, its a private matter, its only a suspicion etc. Nogaki, may in fact be innocent, but I think Judo forum is nuts to be ignoring a serious criminal case involving one of its senior members if this person has any leadership function in a national judo organization. -

Nogaki confessed to the crime to Hanon.
http://JudoForum.com/index.php?/topi...ost__p__709637I have spoken with paul.
I asked his permission to make this post.
paul has admitted to the charges made against him. Paul is so ashamed at what he has done he doesn't know where to look nor what to say. I had a heart breaking talk with paul. Paul understands that what he did was wrong and in fact knew he was going to be caught and offered no defence, not an uncommon syndrom in such cases.
There are very strong and understanable mitigating circumstances that I am not going to write about as it is often human nature to see such circumstances as excuses and paul makes non.
If I had been in his shoes I would have made the same mistake. I would think many of you would. -

Damnit, I was just about to post about this.
The amount of circling the wagons that's happening is hard to wrap your head around.

A lot of people have a lot of intellectual capital invested in the idea of CK, PTNippon and Hanon having some kind of inside track on teh real Judo.
I used to as well, but grew increasingly disillusioned and then the whole CK thing tipped me over the edge.
The people tying themselves in knots are those who hadn't until now seen those three for what they are and or are still trying not to see it. As everyone can see that requires some pretty extensive mental gymnastics. -

Agreed.
What a warped sense of level of magnitude.

On a personal level, I feel an effect of Nick's situation, and I do not feel any affect from Paul's. USJA is fine, it was not my child nor group interest harmed. I hope the process works out well for the harmed party, the boosters club and the perpetrator. They direct victim was not the children nor parents, it was the club, a legal entity which had money. In Nick's case he was representing the USA and We The People were harmed by Nick, each and every one of the 311.5 Million people.
