Cool! I will do my best to attend.
I have never been to a clinic before- do we Randori at all, or is it purely instruction (I don't have a problem either way- I'm just curious how these things work, is all).
Also- where do you- a LI Judoka- practice? I go to Oishi in the city but my wife's from Nassau County so I'm looking for a place to do Judo on the weekends when I'm out there visiting the in-laws... -

Normally the 1st hour or two is instruction and uchi-komi. The last hour or so is randori. I practice at the club where we are having the clinic, but we are only open Mondays and Wednesdays. For Weekend workouts check out Combat Judo in Massapequa. I am pretty sure he has workouts and open mats on the weekends.
Look forward to seeing you there. -

Have you heard of Waseda Judo Club? They practice Saturday mornings from 9-10:30 (early, I know) in Lynbrook. I've heard good things but would be curious to know if you're aware of them as well.
Combat Judo sounds excellent- it just kind of far for me, since I'm in Valley Stream. It's not that far, however, and I'm interested in checking it out. Anyway- thanks for the heads-up about the LB clinic. Looking forward to it. -
