    Sinawali with Doug Marcaida

About two weekends ago I did a seminar on Sinawali with Kuya Doug Marcaida. I've been practicing Sinawali for about a decade through JKD Kali, but after about the first hour of training with Kuya Doug, I realized I had never actually learned Sinawali. Kuya's breakdown of application and learning applications through Sinawali drills other than the typical Heaven & Earth patterns was pretty impressive. Drills also moved from double stick to double knife to empty hand application. This is the footage of the event. It doesn't show a lot of the drill, but some fun little demos.

That looked like it was a pretty good seminar! Lots of stuff in there going all the way from stick to knife to empty hands! Pretty awesome!

This was my 5th seminar with Kuya Doug. I started working with him just to suppliment my JKD Kali & finally decided to go ahead & just adopt his curriculum for the Center because of the depth of knowledge & application.
