I know I'm going to get a lot of backlash on this but, Greg, this guy really is "rooted" and there are a lot of things that you're not seeing that, if it weren't for his other videos, I would say is a bunch of mumbo jumbo. If you know what you're looking for, though, you can see there's a lot of good things in there. Check out his other videos.

Your backyard is beautiful! (Sorry, I'm house shopping in the other browser and got my wires crossed.)

All right I will give it a second look.

    Edit.

I am still missing something. (but then again I can't do those 3d pictures either.)

And now I am intrieged. What am I looking for?

I was thinking of facebooking it and seeing what the resident MMA gurus on there think. Which one should I do?

Have to admit I am missing it too, the stuff in the video here, especially the wooden dummy work and especially especially the kicks look awkward, some of the conditioning work in the other videos looks Ok but then in the videos showing ring/cage work it is either extremely choreographed or in the "older" looking video that is actually in a ring rather than cage, again very awkward looking,

please, could you expand on what you are thinking Omega?

    edit

I should add that the guy is obviously an older guy (and in pretty decent shape) so maybe i should not be looking at the dynamism of it

He is using Tai Chi concepts and applying them to MMA, grappling, and Boxing. This is not a new idea, it is just not seen very often on the interweb. And from what I see, the Gym looks like a pretty good training center.

Of course, the Tai Chi school I train at does the same thing.

This is where we will disagree I see the good, but it is mixed with a bunch of questionable things. Almost to the point where I get the impression of "trying to hard too fit in" from the videos.

That's my issue otherwise, I think it would be an above average place to train CMA.

Is this opinion in conjunction with the other videos shown?
