Online MMA Betting

I was hoping to hear from Bullies who place online bets on MMA events. I've never done any sports betting, but I was thinking of testing the waters on a few upcoming fights. Probably Cung Le vs Wanderlei and Brock vs Overreem for starters.

I've researched the process, I understand how the moneylines work, etc. My main question is which sites do you prefer for placing bets and has your experience with them been positive?

Yes, I used the search function and there wasn't really any recent info and satisfaction with various sports books could have changed over time. If you have current experience, I'd appreciate your thoughts.

One question I didn't find an answer to when I checked out the sites is how do you actually receive your payout when you win? I know you establish an account and put money on it up front. How do you receive your winnings?

I'm a pretty big MMA gambler. Started very small, but I've built up my bankroll quite nicely.

SBR is kind of the "better business bureau" of online sports gambling, and have reviews of virtually every book: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/rati...+sportsbooks+/

As you can see, many books are not accessible to the US.

I use 5Dimes, so I can only speak to my experience with them. They have several methods for cashout (Neteller, Moneybookers, and a couple of others), however I have used their Fedex service. So long as you request a payout on Monday from 9-2 (Or something along those lines), 5Dimes will Fedex a cheque to your house free of cost, with the catch being the cheque can only be between 1,000-3,000 USD.

I also like 5Dimes because they have no real parlay restrictions (other than the fact that you can't parlay events that are dependent on each other -- duh), and have TONS of prop bets.

Also, I've spoken with their customer service on numerous occasions for various reasons, and they've always dealt with me very fairly.

Oh, and final piece of advice, Le/Silva ain't the fight to bet the house on either way lol.

My biggest concern after my initial research is getting fucked over by the book. I was a bit shocked to see all the horror stories about Bodog and others not sending payouts and soforth.

And no, I wouldn't bet the house on any fight.

Well SBR can handle any disputes you have with a book.

And i completely agree about people putting their money where their mouths are. That's what i love about MMA gambling -- it's so honest. It's easy to say after the fact, "Oh, it was so obvious X was going to happen". Only someone who bets on the fights can really make that statement, and anyone who bets knows you can never know anything.

I've been toying with the idea of placing bets too, anyone in the UK care to recommend where to start site-wise? I'm a complete newb when it comes to betting but this looks to be much more fun than the National Lottery or scratchcards.
