    Southern Throwdown or a Mega

    Throwdown date proposals

    Feb. 19th Mardi Gras weekend

    April 28 Festival de International

These are two of the biggest weekends in Lafayette, LA with music food and drinks add some BJJ and Judo and its great.

I would like to invite all of yall down to attend the events and come experience some Cajun hospitality. I owe all you cats from Austin a good meal and plan on cooking up some good Cajun food for yall. It will not be healthy but it will be good.
Judo is only gentle for the guy on top.

Response to these threads is generally a little slow.

I for one will be planning on attending any throwdown that Coach Josh will be hosting, and not just because I love being a throwing dummy.

Southern Fried Throwdown sounds awesome. Dallas is only 8ish hours from me, so it's doable, Austin's another 10 or so.

i would love to do this, and have friends in lafayette i could stay with. last time i was there for the festival de international was in 1990 believe it or not, but it was amazing.

in all likelihood, i will not have enough vacation time from work to be able to do this, however.
