Sorry mate, I've been told to watch this week's BBC 3 or 4 doc (tomorrow night?) on The Royal Welsh.
Told by a Royal Welsh major.
He's bigger than me (most people are).
Mind you, I caught up with "The Bomb Squad" C-IED on BBC i-Player last week. Christ. Essential viewing. Part 2 is this week sometime.
Javelin? Thank God you're a Brit. Here's the French:

What those massive rugby playing, leek munching ones...fair one. Aye I saw it as well, theres an old school one from the 70's as well worth a watch on i-player filmed during op banner. I'll look for a link.
That is a Fail if ever I saw one. Still you could drop that missle from the top of the Eiffel tower and it would just smash to pieces, explosives intact so I dont know what all the fuss was about.......French fairies. -

No problem. If you dont and you have an interest you can go on www.channel4.comprogrammes/4od and watch it online. There is also the same system on the BBC webpage to watch the earlier mentioned docs.
Spot on, it is basically just as safe as a grenade witht the pin intact. The missile will arm itself after the Electronic Safe Arming and Fire (ESAF) system registers that the missile has reached its minimum range dependant on attack mode (top attack being @ 150m, direct attack @ 65m). The initial explosion is just a soft launch to get it out the tube to reduce the signature and increase the safety margin, then the main flight motor should kick in and take it on its long journey into the side of a big F off T-90, Hind, Hilux or on a nice day straight into the body of a running Pashtun warrior, all for the sum of £20,000-£60,000 depending on who you ask . At least thats what the Pam should say. -

There's a ton of old docs from the 50s-90s of the Army all available on the Iplayer listed here:

Anyone been watching the Sandhurst programme? The girl who's in love with Thatcher is hilarious. -

BJJ might make you a better ground fighter, but Judo will make you a better dancer.
