Say what you want, but it was an exciting 1st round.
Also, Pudz' cardio has improved enough to get past round 1. Which is a good improvement compared to vs Sylvia, but he needs get it up to a full 3 if he wants to start winning.

    Agree, decent first round.
Gassing against a guy with poor cardio is just awful - isn't Thompson's cardio notoriously bad?

Some graffiti guy tagged Pudz's back.

wow. He should lose some muscle if he wants those lungs to sustain him, through 3 rounds. It's hurting more than it's helping IMO.

Good vid. Pudz did well but you could almost visibly see the graph line falling when in oxygen debt. "Gassing out" was exactly what I thought...as is mentioned by Tao under. Still, he'd still be too much for most people but against a trained fighter, the equation shanges. Good attempt though.

Actually up to this fight Pudz has loosing lots of mass. His weight in previous fights (chronologically):
    -VS Najman 138,6 kg
    -VS Kawaguchi 128,3 kg
    -VS Sylvia 123,8 kg
    -VS Butterbean 118,6 kg
Fighting against Thompson Pudz weighted 123 kg. It seems he felt confident enough about his cardio to try to fight closer to his original weight obviously a bad idea.
