If you can't do pullups, do negatives.

Jump up, grab the bar at the "up" position, and slowly lower yourself down (count to 4). Repeat until you can't lower yourself slowly anymore, wait a couple of days, and do it again.

That, or stop eating pizza, nachos, and neighborhood children.

I have an issue with the Beachbody products in general. If you do any kind of decently paced exercise a 4 or 5 times a week at 90 minutes a pop, you're going to get in better shape. There are far cheaper options out there though.

Thats not to say that they dont work, we used to do the p90X at the kosho place I used to train for cardio workout, and almost everyone saw decent results, its just really expensive. And if you can motivate yourself at home to begin with, why not just make a list of bodyweight exercises and do your own home "bootcamp" for free?

    Crossfit is free.

Of course, so is injuring yourself if you don't take the time to learn proper form on some of the lifts/movements.

i've done both (finished P90X, did not complete insanity due to injury/sickness) and agree Soldiermedic. Any plan that you stick to will get you in shape. These programs just give you something to go by, but if you're not already in decent shape, jumping right in may lead to injury (especially with insanity. lots of cardio and plyometrics).

Good advice (especially about not feeding your face constantly). If you have a flex band, you can loop it over the bar, stick your foot through the loop and voila, you have some assistance for pullups. If you don't have one or can't afford one, then do as Phrost said.
