    Fang shen do Movie?!!

I came across a site that said there making a bio-pic on Jacques Patenaude rise in martial arts?!

It does say its a comedy so there might be some truth in it.

    See for yourself:

Together they escape to the big city where Jacques becomes involved in the violent world of underground fighting to support his family and pay for advanced martial arts training.
So it belongs in the fantasy section?

I guess we'll finally find out the origins of Patenaude's mysterious martial arts background. Wonder if he'll have Bruce Lee as his teacher.

I assume they gave up on their biopic love movie project? Can't remember the name unfortunately.

We came across this before. The original treatment and script writer had to sue the pats to get paid, outcome unknown. It has been handed off more than once to differing production people. The first incarnation appears to have been a love story. The second was the link shown above with all the BS about 'bicycle gangs' and 'underwear fighting at sausage parties' or some such nonsense. The last time time I saw this crap about a movie it was pegged as a comedy with a working title of "Kung-Fu Jacques".

Too bad! It seems to me it might get done if it done if they pitched as the tragedy it is!

Went on that link. The budget seems to be right for a movie of this genuine calibre. $0.

If only there was a huge number of people paying them over $150 a month for several years at a time, they might be able to finance this.

He'll find a way to charge his students more. Maybe with a black belt club, inners circle secret club or motivational sh*t smelling seminars.

Nah, he'll just add more stripes to each belt level and re-package his learn at home videos as mandatory homework for belt testing.
