I came across a site that said there making a bio-pic on Jacques Patenaude rise in martial arts?!

It does say its a comedy so there might be some truth in it.

I guess we'll finally find out the origins of Patenaude's mysterious martial arts background. Wonder if he'll have Bruce Lee as his teacher.

We came across this before. The original treatment and script writer had to sue the pats to get paid, outcome unknown. It has been handed off more than once to differing production people. The first incarnation appears to have been a love story. The second was the link shown above with all the BS about 'bicycle gangs' and 'underwear fighting at sausage parties' or some such nonsense. The last time time I saw this crap about a movie it was pegged as a comedy with a working title of "Kung-Fu Jacques".

Too bad! It seems to me it might get done if it done if they pitched as the tragedy it is!
