Fighter Interview Questions Asked by You.

    Ken Shamrock
    Pedro Rizzo
    Murilo Bustamante
    Jesse Taylor
    Jeff Monson
    Ricco Rodriguez
    Joaquim "Mamute" Ferreira
    Soukoudjou
    Paul Filho
    Denis Kang
    Paul "Semtex" Daley
    Daniel Acacio

If you had the opportunity to interview one of these fighters, who would it be and what would you ask?

I have the opportunity to interview some of these fighters over the next couple of weeks for Bullshido.net. As I am doing the interview on behalf of YOU, I figure it would be a good idea to ask you what you want to know and from whom.

I look forward to your responses.

UPDATE: The fighter I am interviewing is Ken Shamrock. I'm happy to go ahead with my own questions, however, I would appreciate your input.

    Ken Shamrock- I don't think there's much he'd answer
Pedro Rizzo- "Do you get mistaken for Ricco Rodriguez alot ?"
Murilo Bustamante -"Other than scootch around on your ass for 30 minutes can you do anything useful with it ? Like fold an oragami swan ?"
    Jesse Taylor
Jeff Monson "John Lennon's 'Imagine', really ?"
Ricco Rodriguez-"Do you get mistaken for Pedro Rizzo alot ?"
    Joaquim "Mamute" Ferreira
    Soukoudjou
    Paul Filho
    Denis Kang
Paul "Semtex" Daley-"If you can't KTFO a guy that isn't even moving why are you still fighting ?"
    Daniel Acacio

Those prolly aren't very helpful (or even funny) but in all seriousness I'd ask Shammy about the rise and fall of the Lions Den

Jeff Monson: Why are you so awesome? Why is your jits so sick? If you could pick any fighter in the world to fight in an MMA match with who would it be? Okay, now same question but this time if it were a grappling match? Any new up and coming fighters you think will become forces to reckon with in the MMA world?

I wouldn't ask this last one to his face but I wonder if he dropped that juvenile anarchy bullshit. I mean that whole "free trade blah blah blah" is cute on paper and he's seems like a really well informed/educated individual but when Monson talks politics I just wonder "why?".

I'd ask him if he were 20 years younger could he compete with today's UFC contender level fighters, and how his training focus would change (if it would at all).

I pretty much know the answer, I'm just interested in how he would word it and if he believes that the game has evolved past him or if it's just an age thing separating him from the elite fighters of today.

Good question. Furthering it depending how he answered, I'd like to know how his conditioning training today differs from when the Lions Den first roared onto the scene in the 90's.

Ask him if the leg injury he received against Mike Bourke was new or from previous wear and tear. Also ask him if there are any videos available of the fight and if the two are slated to have a rematch.

Other than that, ask him if he plans to have frequent fights like he said he would before the injury. Also ask him what he thinks about fighting Tank Abbott and Dan Severn.
