Hay guiz! Jim Wagner + TKD = SAUCESOME!

I saw "Fight Quest" on netflix where they go into Japan to study Kyokushin karate... and was thinking if there is any TKD tournaments like Knock-Down Karte? DO ANY OF YOU KNOW OF ANY? I'm pretty sick of "point sparring" and the chest protector does give a false sense of security...

The ITF NK have fairly regular PRO TKD tournements these are full contact and knockdowns score heavily I have been told.

I got into TKD in the late '70s and I recall talk of, and some clinics in "professional TKD" in the mid-80s or thereabouts. IIRC it was a sort of reaction to pro kickboxing. Nothing much came of it at the time, but maybe others ran with it.

Olympic Taekwondo is full-contact Taekwondo.

There are several Taekwondo dojo in Japan that compete in Kyokushin tournaments and train accordingly.

The ITF NK can go **** itself.

Not really Taekwondo, but I like to watch world combat league for some good old-style kickboxing type matches

LOL its not reality based tkd, it's reality bases/ tkd/ Judo ( I'm a "student" of alex haddox) who is from JIM Waggner's Reality Based Personal Protection. I wish there were a reality based tkd, then we could take of all the f**king pads and simulate reality... that and 1-steps...LMFAO
