    SAMBO Seminar - The Videos!

Here are the promised videos from the Kent, WA SAMBO seminar that happened this last weekend. I ended up with over an hour of video from the 3 hour seminar, my battery was dying at the end… so this is just a snippet of the information that we went through. The videos pretty much speak for themselves so I will just post them for all to enjoy!

Thanks to Aaron Fields and SeaTown SAMBO for making this such a great time and sharing with us all.

The sad / funny part is that he was a little more mellow that day than he normally is :happy10:

This is just more proof that Aaron is a great instructor who can break down a principle in such a way that someone can understand, retain and implement it. Do you have more?

Yeah I have some more, but were saving it for our Fireman’s SAMBO dvd series… and it can all be yours for only 4 easy payments of $99.99!! Pre-Orders now being excepted!

    Spoiler:

Seriously though, I do have a few more mostly it’s just clarification of the techniques shown and pointing out some more details and the like. I thought those 3 clips were the most in-depth ones I could put up, some of the other clips may not make since taken out of context; also some of the early clips from the day didn’t catch everything well because I was still getting use to using the camera.

Also I feel like putting up clips like that makes it seem as if Aaron was teaching these individual techniques, which wasn’t the case, it was a flow that showed a principle that got applied as you moved through different stages and that gets lost a little bit when you view it as clips instead of as a whole.

Those clips were great. I got a lot out of them...he does have a way of breaking it down that is easily understandable.

In the sambo-free wasteland, that is Ohio, where we only get a chance to train with Coach Tripp a few times a year, this sort of thing is invaluable to us.
