    Motivation

I started this thread to find what drives us all. Granted I started it here in YMAS because I figured it would draw alot of asinine comments. But really what is it that gets you up and off your ass? Me it's proving them wrong and being better then I was yesterday.

    That.

And not working night shifts, being forced to pleasure Japanese businessmen at Guam airports.

Day job is just fine, thank you.

(And you were worried about asinine comments.)

So you're NOT worried about losing your job and having to pleasure fat chicks at back of the local hair salon just to make ends meet?

    Hm...

    Hm...

Don't talk about his mom like that.

I am driven by the need to eat something every once in a great while. And since they have not created food replicators yet, that means I work.

The idea of effortless superiority. Keeping the Tai Chi principle while fighting. I work on that.

In bjj its getting tapped out. I want to find a way to not be put in that position again. In aikido its me getting a move right a couple of times, and then not getting it right the rest of the night and I want to find a way to perfect it. When I go and work on my boxing its whenever i feel like a fatass and/or see a good fight on tv and suddenly get that "I can be better than (insert champ in any weight class)" feeling.
