Guy knows how to market himself. After the whole "Machida Divide" thing, his managers probably told him he needed to be a lot more accessible to the fans to establish a base. The Tito and Silva fights opened a lot of press doors for him too, so he was kinda catapulted into the MMA spotlight, which probably served as further motivation to improve his English, interview skills, and ring persona.

GSP could have a rematch against Pitbull Alves, he's a (relatively) small Brazilian.
There's nothing wrong with using translators (although Dong Hyun Kim's first fight does come to mind), but I definitely think something gets lost when you have to go through another person. As his English improves, he'll be able to give us a better idea of his philosophies, personality, and all the other things fans fall in love with fighters for (in addition to their fights).
