How the hell does a guy survive a flying knee strike?

Today, I found myself in an unfortunate situation, where I had to get into a fight. Lets just say that I had to, get up on a fucking table and flying knee strike a guy who was six feet away. I hit him RIGHT IN THE FUCKING FACE! The follow through pushed him onto a chair, AND THE CHAIR BROKE FROM UNDER HIM! Then he looks up at me and goes 'What the hell? I'll take care of you...' And I was like waa....? Then other people in the room helped restrain him.

Long story short the guy is...in custody. But how the hell did he survive that? He didn't even get bruised!

Basic logic/gradeschool understanding of physics says if you really jumped six feet at the guy you probably dont have much upwards force left in your motion, batman. Maybe you shouldve just restrained him like a normal person.

your technique wasnt correct or the distance might have lessened the impact and the dude just fell over cuz you came at him.

The technique mite be akin to when people punch without the snap it makes a more pushing effect rather than hurting effect when thrown.

but yeah, 6 feet away...the velocity and speed of your strike went down as you kept going 6 feet, most succesfull jumping knees are from at least 2-3 feet away probably and that also depends on technique and physical shape to do the jump you can possibly do it better and father the better technique you have or shape you are in

btw, do you train in Muay Thai? or just Judo (looking at your styles)

I would expect this, based on how the heavy bag reacts to my flying knees (compared to other strikes)
