It has been suggested (but not confirmed) that Blythe's dojo did do this on a regular basis with drunks, transients, etc. There is one claim of a dojo storming event in which the victim pressed charges and won a case against one of Blythe's students (who supposedly served some time). We have been unable to confirm any of this with old press, police or court records at this point. Tough to do without a name of either the Blythe student, victim's name, or year.
No school owners that were operating at the time have come forward with any corroborating stories. We have contacted several at this point and have not heard back from any with such knowledge.
But, yes, Blythe's connection with local law enforcement has been established fairly well.
