OK so this is what we got thisfar:
first american to win gold in San Shou world championships- NOT TRUE
Coaching the national team- NOT TRUE
Olympic Claims- NOT TRUE
Undefeated record in US San Shou- NO EVIDENCE OF THIS
Actual fights in San Shou- NO EVIDENCE OF THIS
History of White Pheonix Kung Fu- Not yet investigated, but posters at another forum claim the names are not proper Chinese
Kumite fights in china- YEAH RIGHT!
It is posible that all those articles are filled with lies from the journalists that authered them. This is pretty unlikely since they cover a timespan och 3 years ans are used on Castillos website. He wouldnt use it if he didnt stand for it.
I'm not sure if *any* American has won Gold at the World's yet. I can check on that, but I don't thinks its happened.
Eye of the pheonix by Tim mutne can be found on the aspen times wbsite, do can the other articles. All the writers seem to be legit in the sense that they work for the newspaper. . . what happened to fact checking? hahaha
Fact Checking goes out the window when you are tied to an art.
The whole website reminded me of the Sensei Al situation we had up in NY a while back. It just doesn't look like a legit website so IMO the whole thing is questionable.
That is my problem as well. Just to many dead ends at this point. I wish we had someone in the area that can at least confirm the school exists.
