I am training and trying hard to get into some sort of shape for the Bravado BJJ open September 13th
When I normally go to BJJ class I go in the afternoon and don't eat breakfast, rather take some BCAA suoplements for energy and drink water.
this has helped me lose weight and keeps me strong during rolling as my body isn't waisting energy trying to digest food.
Now for this competition they are allowing people to weigh in the day before.
Without food in my tummy I weigh about 199-201 with food about 205
I want to compete in the 205 weight class
With weigh ins the day before I assume there will be some serious weight cutters who are going to be fighting in at 215. I am ok with that it's when I start rolling with guys at 225+ I find it difficult.
anyways on to my question
So lets say I weigh in the day before what should I eat the day of?
Because I'll be in the men's 205 white belt division I'll probably be competing much later in the day which means sitting around for hours.
Should I make myself a protein shake, bananas?
What do you guys do?
