MA training coming out of my ears!
It looks like I could be cross training to a ridiculous extent from October, I'm just wondering though if it will be excellent for me or detrimental. I currently do 1x kung fu and 2xmma sessions a week, with gym sessions too,so about 5 days training.However, from October I have the chance to do muay thai and also kickboxing too. I'm quite happy to drop 1 or 2 of my cardio sessions to do this, and I am pretty sure these will add excellent skills to my training and hopefully enable me to compete.
What do you reckon then, stupid idea or excellent training?
I'm quite happy taking on the mt and the kickboxing as there's no grading system and I won't get bogged down in new forms etc. I'm also happy that I will be improving my stand up while continuing to improve my ground game with the mma.
