Ditto what most of the other posters thought. Frank stood on the outside and ate combos from Le. Shamrock seemed hesitant to throw any power into his low kicks, they all seemed timid to me. He had a good straight right, but he never set it up and would back up after throwing it. He lunges at Le with it at around 8:30, (video on Dailymotion) and man does Le make him pay hard for it. After Le figured out that Shamrock was a one-trick pony, the fight was downhill.
Overall: Great fight for Cung Le, very poor strategy by Frank Shamrock and he paid for it. Maybe he was injured before the fight.
Concerning the kick game: A more aggressive kick game means more of a chance to get taken down, Le got very lucky the first time when he gave up his back to Shamrock and Frank didn't do anything with it. The second time he ate a few punches and went to the ground from a kick, and if Frank had pinned him, he would have had to fight out of side mount.
