Oh, so it's basically just like light weight with high repetitions. Thank you. Well then if it's muscular endurance thats important, then I will just stick to my light weight high repetitions training. However, I was taught that explosive power and speed is very important. Peace to all.

I guess you can say its similar but I'd save the weights for the heavy lifting.
Bodyweight exercise allows you to do something other than weights, and allows you to train at different angles where weight work doesn't
eg. diamond pushups, reverse pushups, neck bridging, hindu pushups, hindu squats, jumper squats, etc...
