How should i tape up my big toe?
I injured my foot in BJJ about 6 weeks back by basically bending my big toe right underneath my foot with all of my weight on it. Now i'm no expert but i reckon i tore the tendons/ligaments in the big toe as the pain dies away after a few days, but immediately comes back if i slightly bend it or stub it past the normal range of motion. Also hurts if i misplace a kick and end up hitting the pad/sparring partner with my insted/toe instead of the shin.
I bought some micropore surgical tape to wrap around it and support it whilst training but i've never used the stuff before so unsure of how best to wrap it.
The pain is in the circled area and this is whre i want to support so that it doesn't bend back too much whilst training.
Should i just wrap around the whole foot, tie the first two toes together and leave the rest etc?
