Cramps and pain in my calf muscles
I've always gotten cramps from time to time in my calves when doing triangles and similar moves. However, lately I've been experiencing some pretty severe pain when simply using these mucles. Doing the simple stand up guard break in BJJ causes severe pain, which is worse in my right calf than in my left, most likely because I primarily use that leg to stand up and do triangles.
It's not so bad yet that I want to see a doctor, but now that I'm starting a new job that is in an office that has a gym in the building, I was thinking about doing various calf muscle strengthening exercises. Is this a good idea, or does anyone have any other tips?
