Who would win in a fight?
Let's take this seriously for one day. Because I believe that once this board goes andMorphs back into Bullshido once again this thread may never return again.
So letís settle this once and for all. Who would win in a one-on-one fight. The experienced Aikidoka sensei or an amateur boxer. I believe that the Aikidoka sensei would win because the boxer would be too green in his style to properly be able to fight on the street in a real life situation.IMO!
After all the Sensei would have years of training for just this purpose. His lineage is sound. While the young boxer would have training in a smelly old gym with training from coaches who's rankings can only be questionable.
What do you ladyís and gents think?

I have to disagree. Boxing develops skills that are very useful in street encounters. The hand techniques are superior to most MA, not becuase there are a wide array, but becuase they teach you how to strike from odd angles and with speed and combinations. It also teaches footwork and stamina that many (not all) aikidoka lack.
