It IS how you train.
But i personally think the muay thai roundhouse is better, it just...does more damage. Especially if you like to kick low.
In my school, we kick using the shin and we dont do any flicky motions, we follow through.
The style is still Uechi-ryu, but we kick very Thai.
So why not do the same with TKD?
Cant thier be a seperate association or TKD group that uses low kicks?
THAT is what i mean how you train.
Why the hell should a karate/tkd guy's fighting style look like all the other guys? Why isnt it more like boxing with karate and tae kwon do?
When you see two boxers fight, they fight differently, thier own personal styles.
I know EVERYONE has thier own personal styles, but i see it more so in MMA and boxing.
So why cant karate guys have such big differences in how they fight? Why do they all have to be UNEVOLVED fuckers? They just DO NOT CHANGE, they refuse to keep with the times.
THIS is why Muay thai kills karate/Tae kwon do, because they keep up with the modern world.
You all probably know this already, better then me, but i just had to get that out.
