One of my favorite bag drills for a long time used to be to practice hitting as I was falling backwards. You can take advantage of the fall and turn it into rotational momentum for a looping outside hook. I've spent a fair bit of time specifically trying to figure out how to hit with power when I was "off balance".Quote:

The most stable "stance" is the one where you have all your weight on one leg. . . like in that fist vidcap on the previous page. The "pidgeon toed" one. The second one is pretty dangerous as my weight is already starting to shift to the left foot and my COG is not properly centered over the rear leg. It's tipping precariously to my left-rear.
