So I've noticed in my training in general Striking and Grappling I tend to improve in a cycle of plateaus. For a while I feel like I'm not getting any better then something usually clicks and bam I jump up in skill and I feel stuck there again for a while.
I feel like I've reached another one of those plateaus in my Grappling. Over the last few month my grappling has definately improved I am relaxing more and focusing on position and really feeling the flow. But now I feel like I am stuck at the point of only having good position. I don't ever "see" the entrances to submissions. Instead I get positon and hold it or try to make an ill advised sub work. Especially Kimuras and Americanas I have never got one of these outside of a drill.
So do you guys have any recomendations on how to move past this point? I feel like I need to "see" the oppurtunities for subs a LOT more clearly. Any ideas?
