Funny you should say that, Ronda herself thinks it's unfair to get a transgender to fight in the women's division.

Yeah, no, bad comparison.

Are you being dense on purpose? Will you not acknowledge the fact that training as a man while growing up till the age of 30 then having a reassignment surgery isn't a button that resets your strength to match that of a woman that's trained as a woman all her life?
Nope. If two participants agree to fight I do not give a damn about their gender. If Fox is signed to the UFC, opponents do not care and it was approved I DO NOT CARE.

Do I think a transgendered person should be able to fight in whatever gender class they have been reassigned to? Yep.
The term "reassigned" cracks me up in that context; it sounds more like a memo from human resources.

If I knew that someone had been proven to be training on roids for decades while lying about it, then went off for a couple years, do you think they should be able to compete in the Olympics?
Though I've never used them, I have no problem with people using steroids if they're open about it and don't compete against others who aren't. But that puts you in a different class.
If I were a woman, I would feel I had a right to know if my opponent had been on huge doses of testosterone. Some people are so self-centered and thoughtless, yet so easily offended it blows my mind. There are concessions in life. You live in a time and had the resources to "realise" your gender identity. Be happy.
You can't match women's necks supporting hits from men's punches. That's so wrong. It's like me as a 30-year-old enrolling in highschool and competing in JV football. But possibly disabling women is less of an issue than hurting someone's feelings.
My primary thought is, she is literally female. Granted, not in the sense anyone gives a **** about, but still in a literal sense:
Sex =/= any specific gender dimorphic biological property, but gender dimorphic biological properties in general.
Second thought: Fighting based on general hormonal/biological composition is fine in principle, but the people whose job it is to decide how all this works decided Fallon Fox belongs in Women's Division. If more evidence is presented establishing that the opposite is warranted, or allowing finer differentiation of such borderline cases, cool, but right now this is where the professional medical opinion is so that's where a rational person has to stand
Third thought: The public response to this has made me much less interested in MMA and much more interested in IDPA
Good work on being 35-70% better about this than the rest of the internet though
You bump this thread for that? A weak ass point that has been brought up and refuted several times already?
I don't think you know what words mean
I KNOW you don't.
