The city sponsors through cheap facilities.
If your club is connected to a (recognized) federation, you can get A-level insurance (MMA, Muay Thai, etc...).
If you are not connected to a federation you get B-level insurance. This is included in the lease of the facility.
The guy paying to host and giving his time to organize people shouldn't have to listen to a bunch of fucking monday morning qb's on another continent tell him what he is and isn't or can and can't organize.
If the site (BS.net) hosted the event, purchased the insurance, and was liable for any incidents that occurred, I would agree with you. As it is, the events are posted here and organized by it's members, but the gym owner and event organizer has deal with any **** that goes down.
Not really. Two people were given **** and only TWO. The rest got sucked in by the way Matt posts. Instead of projecting that onto all of the other participants, let that **** go. You've spent multiple posts proving you run ****, tell those two not to show up. If it runs smoothly then you'll know the source of your issues.Quote:
And every year some drama starts a few months after the EuroMega, it's frustrating.
Holy mackerel, I've been to 8-9 Bullshido TD's and never seen any fallout from any of them. I suspect this is the fault of a few individuals, rather than the norm given the relative rarity of TD drama over an almost ten year period.
I can understand Zendokan's issues with finding space that will allow any type of contact. In the past, the Austin crew has experienced the same issue.
Some of you need to train a whole lot more and post a whole lot less. Rafe.
Edit: So, basically, I agree with IIF.
