I'm asking an honest question. For all you know, he could have meant he's a small fan, or that he felt neutral about it.
I still feel OP's pain.
It's my sensitive nature, always getting in the way.
I can only hope my daughter wants to do martial arts with me. That would be so nice. Rather than never seeing each other eye to eye.
It has been a wonderful experience. I hope that you can do it too. Good luck.
I'm just glad there are fathers that love to spend time with their kids rather than not.
Really? Are you two really parents? There are certain choices I've given my daughter. In my opinion there are certain non choices.
You will learn Math, you will learn English, you will learn History, and you will learn to take care of yourself. To me that's about martial arts. She doesn't have a choice. Fun is for Hobbies. At a younger age, anything physical is fine, I told my daughter, who wanted to quit when she was 7 what I tell you now. She was more than welcome to pick something else physical but come the age of 10 she was right back in. I don't care if she gets her blackbelt, I do care about her being able to take care of herself against bullying and strangers attacking her.
Weren't we talking about a 6 year old in the OP? Whether she does martial arts or gymnastics at this point doesn't matter a bit at this point, so long as she's active and having fun.
Not sure why this is in the JMA forum.
