Some drunken tussles by Faneuil Hall (Where many of the bars are), North Station (after Bruins/Celts games), and near Fenway.
There's a bit of craziness downtown, usually involving substance abusers/homeless. The violence in the "hood(s)" which are very small, largely involves weaponry.
Does an actual "street fighting scene" exist anywhere?
Is anyone else hearing the theme music to Duffshido, with this quote...?Quote:
Boston street fighter Danny Horgan...
I actually saw him stroll past me one night as I was resting between rounds of MMA sparring. I followed him to the back room and told him I wanted to throw down with him in the near future. We made vague plans for the coming Saturday (my mistake to be vague, but I was pretty exhausted from several hours of training and not thinking straight). Dan assured me that he'd be around at the gym and we'd have our chance to throw down.
This was maybe 6+ months ago. I didn't see him that Saturday (partially my fault) nor any of the following days in the time since (his fault). Long story short, he's a biatch.
Right. Bobby has never hidden his hobby training or his current lack of skill. Danny knew EXACTLY who he was choosing when he accepted Bobby's SPARRING match. He ducked, excused or avoided anyone who could remotely be called a "master." I know that isn't what you are claiming, but IMO the average amateur fighters is closer to being a "master" than MANY so called self appointed douchebags.
