Considering making a training log
Howdy folks. I just got done watching "Ip Man" for the third time and I think I've finally hypnotized myself into building one of those training logs ,that wing chuners like to use, in my backyard.
But before I do that I would like to know if anybody else has previous experience with these things because continuously smacking my forearm against a piece of wood sounds like it might have some adverse side effects.
I tried to use the search function to see if there was already a thread on this but "log" got me nothing, "dummy" got me..well dummies, and "wing chun" got me alot of useless threads.
I know it's not the most conventional of training methods but heck it looks like alot of fun and I've been wanting to try out something new so I would really appreciate some feedback on this.
