No 'great' martial art is complete without an appropriately lauded hollywood/movie star to represent what the art stands for to the suitably impressionable, naive and cash wielding youth (or young at heart).
There are no shortage of examples for CMA's (Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Jackie Chan etc.), Karate has its share (the karate Kid, Chuck Norris etc.) but as a JJJ apologist (special thanks to JNP for adding that to my vocabulary) I felt there was something lacking in my style. This void could only be filled by a slick, talented and smooth practitioner of the ancient samurai art of jujitsu bringing all that is great about it to the big screen.
At last, after years of searching, I've finally found my movie idol for JJJ:
