yes some techniques ARE too dangerous to go full out with. BUT and that is a BIG BUTT err But.. ;) That leaves a TON of stuff you CAN train with resistance! And I think many don't do it because they really don't know how, or.. Because they will see they are not the magic yoda's they thought they were! I would rather REALLY know where I stand, not create a false environment where I am some master sending people flying with a touch!
All arts Judo, BJJ MMA all of them do drills from ZERO resistance to full on. it is called progressive resistance just like weight training.
And I know that many people want to see it at a high level so they can have faith that Ninpo CAN really be applied! I understand. but, I am sorry to say we at my dojo do not have any level 10's yet. But we are trying! I could do that if I did just grappling and boxing etc.. but to keep it Ninpo techniques only, we are not there yet..
I can of course show you two people both going for it, not taking turns and both trying to stop the other. much more videos will be coming soon! and btw, you can see a video in this thread of students doing jab cross and front kick in a totally resistant environment.
Cool I'll check it out. When I spoke of being at a "10" I was making an inference about your system with levels not being levels of skill so much as the way the opponent asserts his or her will to throw and not be thrown, not how good the opponents are at doing or countering said techniques. I'll check out more of your channel tonight. I should go now. I have a test to study for. Yes a test on Friday evening.
