As much as I joked about the class afterwards, I was pretty serious during it. I came home, whipped out a notebook, and began to record the things I would need to work on. Hand position. Proper hip thrusting. Reaching across the body for knees (is anyone else taught this?). Going up on the balls of my feet during knees and kicks. It's a lot to process, but I decided before I even started that I would focus on proper technique even at the sake of power early on.
It's looking like I may go to class either tomorrow or Monday, so there will surely be more fun-filled adventures to come.
