Syberia's comp footage.
Finally I get a chance to post some of my comp footage. I've competed before, but never had any decent footage to post up to get some feedback.
I won both the GI and NoGi divisions (61kg-67kg), not that it was a major achievement, as there was only two other female competitors for Gi and only one other for NoGi, and none of them had competed before.
Still, I'm glad I've won a fight at a comp, and would appreciate any comments and feedback you can throw my way.
This is from the South Australian AFBJJ competition, on the 12th of September.
Edit: I'm the one on the mat waiting first up, white Gi, short hair.
(The guy using my camera is apperently unaware of the zoom function...)

Will have to chase down my NoGi footage, as one of the guys has it.
Nicely done! Nice takedown at 3mins on the first one.
You need walkout music.
Lol, I'll cut some in, maybe.
Nice work syberia.
Thanks for posting.
Think you could have avoided the head-bonk @ :20 in the second vid?
Thanks, I'm glad I finally have something to post. Hopefully I'll get down to panpac in November and have some more to post.
Nice work syberia.
If I hadn't of screwed over the orginal single leg, yes.

At about 1:14 of the second video you have a grip on the same side sleeve and collar and you try to break her down into your guard. That will work a lot better if you escape your hips out on the same side that you have the sleeve grip, drive that arm across their body, and drive your other elbow (The collar grip) into the mat. Then you can throw your leg up high on your opponents back to help hold them down. It's my go-to for breaking someone down in closed guard and leads to all kinds of good stuff.
