My passion for ninjutsu was what made me join the Bujinkan in 1995 and although I today love everything we learn in Bujinkan Budô, including the teachings that are not shinobi-related, my primary focus always has been and always will be on ninjutsu.

Because of this, I am also very dedicated to the practice of the more "exotic" teachings - explosive and poison making, stealth techniques, concealment and infiltration practice, water training, study of covert strategy & tactics etc. So I do not merely focus on taijutsu as is most common today in our organisation.

I also study ninjutsu as much as I practice it - studying the teachings of the ancient hidensho as well as the research works of noted Japanese ninjutsu scholars.

As ninjutsu was a system of warfare used for survival, I personally like to have a very combat-oriented attitude in my training which is why I always emphasize the real-life combat application of the principles at hand and greatly enjoy full contact jissen keiko.
