Martial Arts Experience:

My first foray into martial arts was aikikai aikido, which I'm mildly ashamed of, but there's really no way I would have ever had the balls to jump straight into the hardcore world of MMA training. I had to work up to that. During a two-week hiatus from training for some minor surgery, I decided not to go back to aikido. I spent a few months at a crappy MMA McDojo, a step in the right direction but totally inadequate. I've been training at an excellent MMA gym ever since, focusing primarily on muay thai and grappling, with healthy doses of filipino martial arts as well.
